And... the worst (and why)? - I was in a band
called Tusk with my brother Teddy, we live in New York
and had a gig in Connecticut during a snow storm, and
my windshield wipers broke. So for 4 hours we tied string
to the wiper blades and manually worked the wipers.
The kicker was the show was pretty empty, because of
the storm...

The
story so far....
I
started on guitar and switched to drums at eleven years
old. I think I made the right move! All I ever really
wanted to be is a drummer. Luckily I've been able to
do it for a living. I'm loving The Lizards.
We play the kind of music I grew up on - bluesy, sometimes
funky, hard rock.
Over the
years I've played with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Blue
Oyster Cult, Quiet Riot, toured with Aerosmith and Zebra,
recorded with The Scorpions, Mark Stein, The Sign, Rondinelli,
Daniel Wentworth, Sun Red Sun, and am co-author of the
book The Encyclopedia of Double Bass Drumming
published by Modern Drummer and distributed
by Hal Leonard.
I teach when I'm not on
the road, and did a successful clinic tour of Europe
in November and December 2005, and more are planned
for this year. I still try to practice every day. I
tell my students "when you stop getting better,
you start getting worse" - and I believe it.
We were touring a lot
during 2004 and 2005, mostly in Europe. We recently
started to tour the States, and we're playing some of
our best shows yet! Hope to see you at the show!
